FAMILY HOPE

Our Family Hope program works with parents and caregivers of our target population, helping them to navigate resources and strengthen advocacy skills so they can help the young adults in their lives connect with vital services. We periodically offer workshops and seminars from professionals in relevant fields, as well as networking opportunities with other parents and caregivers to provide mutual support and share information.

Our Parent Cafe meets the second Saturday of every month from 9:30-11:00am in the Bertsch Family Resource Building at Josh's Hope. This is a group for caregivers of children with mental health issues, providing connection, resources, help with systems navigation, and emotional support.

"Being a primary caregiver for someone living with mental illness can often feel exhausting and isolating. Our Cafe sessions allow us to share coffee and conversation that help us heal, grow stronger and feel validated - something that might have been missing in our lives for a long while but gets repaired by building a connection to others who simply understand without judgment." -Julie Bailey
